The Fluval 405 is a decent filter, but there is water by pass. It does a good job keeping the water clean and clear. But if you want unsurpassed, top notch water filtration go Eheim. I've owned quite a few models including the gigantic 2080, and you cant compare the two brands. The two brands are made in Germany but Fluvals are no where near as good. If you had to judge the two brands, Fluvals are the black sheep of the family. They are however easier to clean than the Eheims.

I have a medium sized fishroom (60+ tanks), and breed various species that do best with the Lee larger plastic box filters- (4'+ diameter), for use in 20-50 gal. aquariums. I am finding that they seem to be no longer available. (The round, greenish ones are the ideal I am looking for). I am looking to purchase 10-15 of them. Do you stock them on request, or know where they can be found? The Lee you offer may be fine, but I need to avoid the smaller ones those seem to be ideally suited for 5 and 10 gallon aquariums. Thank you. Greg sage
